Arriving on the Albanian Riviera means a long drive from the airport, usually at the end of a flight and often late at night. A private transfer turns that into a single arranged journey: your driver is waiting when you land, your luggage goes in once, and you are taken directly to your accommodation.

Tirana International Airport to Dhërmi
Tirana International Airport (TIA, code TIA) at Rinas is the main gateway for almost everyone travelling to the Albanian Riviera. From there the route runs south through central Albania towards Vlorë, then climbs the Llogara Pass before descending to the coast at Palasë and Dhërmi.
There is no direct public transport link between the airport and Dhërmi. Reaching the Riviera independently means at least one connection in Tirana or Vlorë, with luggage, and a schedule that does not take account of when your flight actually lands. A private transfer removes all of that.
We publish no fixed journey time for this route. It varies with the season, roadworks, weather over the Llogara Pass and where exactly you are staying — and a confident number that turns out to be wrong is worse than none. When you book, we tell you the pickup time we recommend for your flight and the arrangement we will use.

You receive the vehicle, the price and the meeting arrangement in writing before the day of travel.
We watch the flight
If your flight is delayed, the pickup moves with it. You do not need to call from the aircraft to rearrange anything.

After you clear baggage reclaim, your driver is waiting in the arrivals area with a sign showing your name.

Early morning departures
Flights out of Tirana often leave early. We arrange the pickup time from your accommodation against your check-in, including starts before dawn when the booking is made in advance.
Pickup from anywhere on the Riviera
Departure transfers start from Dhërmi, Palasë, Vuno, Jal, Himarë, Qeparo, Borsh, Vlorë and Sarandë, not only from Dhërmi itself.
Groups and families
Multiple vehicles mean a family with several suitcases or a group travelling together can usually be handled in one booking.
Return transfers
Book the arrival and the departure at the same time and both are held in the same reservation.
Other airports and border crossings
Some visitors to the Riviera arrive through other gateways — Corfu by ferry to Sarandë, or overland from Greece, North Macedonia, Kosovo or Montenegro. We cover routes of this kind where we can confirm the logistics in advance, and we will say so plainly if a particular connection is not one we can serve.
For a ferry arrival at Sarandë, send us the sailing time rather than a flight number and we will arrange the pickup around it. For a land border, tell us the crossing you intend to use and the approximate time.
If a route involves a crossing we cannot confirm, we will tell you rather than accept the booking and work it out later.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We follow the flight. If it lands late, the pickup time moves with it and there is nothing you need to do. If a delay is long enough to change the arrangement, we will contact you on the number you gave when booking.
Where exactly will the driver meet me?
In the arrivals area after baggage reclaim, with a sign showing your name. The exact meeting point is confirmed in writing when your booking is accepted, so you know before you fly.
How far in advance should I book an airport transfer?
As early as you can, particularly for July and August and for arrivals late at night. Advance booking is what lets us hold a vehicle for your flight rather than hope one is free.
Can you provide child seats?
Tell us the number and ages of children when you book and we will confirm what we can provide for your journey. Please do not assume a seat is available without confirming it.
Do you also drive to the airport for departing flights?
Yes. Departure transfers are booked the same way — give us your flight time and your pickup address, and we will agree a departure time that allows for check-in.
Is there a public bus from Tirana airport to Dhërmi?
There is no direct service. Travelling independently means connecting through Tirana or Vlorë and then continuing along the coast, which is awkward with luggage and does not adapt to a delayed flight.
